Certificate IV UFS (Business)(Computing & IT)(Communications) The Certificate IV UFS is a pre-university course equivalent to Year 12 or foundation programme. The course is designed to prepare students for entry into university level programmes. It consists of 8 modules of study and requires two semesters full-time study to complete. Progression to the Diploma program requires passes in all 8 modules.
Certificate IV UFS (Law) is designed to prepare students for entry to the ECU Bachelor of Laws (LLB). The course consists of 8 modules of study, with 7 compulsory core / stream modules and 1 elective. For progression into ECU Bachelor of Laws (LLB), students must complete the Certificate IV (Law) with a course average (based on eight successfully completed modules—not fails) of 75% or better, in no more than three semesters.
This course is designed to prepare students for entry into university-level programmes in Science. It requires 2 semesters of full-time study to complete the 8 modules.
Certificate IV UFS (Engineering) This course is designed to prepare students for entry into the Diploma of Engineering. The course consists of 8 modules of study, with 6 compulsory core/stream modules and 2 electives.
Certificate IV UFS (Mixed English Program) This course combines English studies with the Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies for those with non-English speaking background. Students study English at the same time as they take up one Certificate IV UFS module in order to develop English proficiency. The Certificate IV UFS module will be credited towards the Certificate IV UFS of choice. |
