Skilled Migration Internship Program – Accounting (SMIPA)

The Professional Year Program is designed to assist international student graduates gain employment in their chosen career; as well as give eligibility for 10 migration points towards permanent residence. It is a 44 week Department of Immigration and Citizenship approved program, including a 12 week internship. This initiative was developed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship together with Australian professional bodies to address Australia’s skill shortages in nominated occupations. 
 

PIBT is the Navitas provider for Western Australia and is currently accepting applications for the November 30th intake. 

The Program

• Professional Internship (Work Experience) for 12 weeks
• Professional training specific to the industry
• 44 weeks as gazetted by DIAC
