What do you teach at PIBT?

Computer Security and Networking for the Diploma of Computing/IT. I am also a Course Coordinator for the Diplomas of Computing/IT, Engineering and Health Studies.

What do you like most about the subjects?

I really enjoy the subjects I teach. I love discussing and analysing the current computing environment with students.

My teaching aims to be student-centred with students improving their skills in real life situations.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family which is very important to me. I also love exercising my greyhound.

Build friendly relationships with the staff at the university, including your lecturers, the IT Support staff, the library staff and everyone you come into contact with.

Engaging and interactive. I make an effort to get to know my students.

To spark an interest in your learning, read around the subject, look for interesting websites, join discussion groups, or watch a movie about the topic. This will make studying much easier.
