Foundation - the Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies (UFS) is a Pre-University course equivalent to Year 12 or Foundation Program. The course is designed to prepare students for entry into university level programs in the areas of Business, Computing & IT, Communications, Law, Science and Nursing. Diploma – study the first year of university while receiving extra academic and personal support. The PIBT Diploma program allows you to study in the areas of Business, Hotel Management, Computing & IT, Communications and Science and provides a smooth transition into second year of university.
Postgraduate – the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) is designed to equip students with the academic knowledge and study skills required for success at the Masters degree level in Business, Computing and Information Technology
and Communications.
English Language – PIBT offers a variety of English courses to suit all levels from beginner to advanced in; General English, Academic English, University Pathway Programs, IELTS Preparation Course and Study Tours. |

| IELTS news and information: - PIBT IELTS test centres at Mt Lawley and Joondalup accept postal applications from all candidates in Western Australia.
- Interstate applications are also accepted.
- PIBT Exam Practice Sessions for IELTS - this 4-hour Saturday course, taught by qualified IELTS teachers will enable students to look at the exam requirements of both speaking and writing. Students will undertake a full exam practice in each of the two skills. By the end of this course, students should be better prepared for their speaking and writing exams and have a clearer understanding of the requirements. Classes held on Mt Lawley campus.
- PIBT Preparation Course for IELTS - this 4-week, 16 hour course covers all 4 parts of the exam (speaking, writing, reading and listening). The course focuses on each part of the exam and gives strategies on how to be more successful. By the end of the course students should feel more confident and have several strategies to assist them in each section of the exam. Classes held on Mt Lawley campus.
- Passport photos for IELTS application - A photo booth which takes passport photos is available on Joondalup campus in the Bookshop (near the library) in Building 31, and on Mt Lawley campus in Clusters Cafe in Building 12. Passport photos cost $8 for 4. The booth does not give change; you must insert the correct money. PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
